16°-17° East is a leading broadcast position for central and western Africa, with AMOS-17 Ku-1 beam providing extensive coverage stretching from south DRC to north of Senegal, with many TV platforms.


AMOS-17 Ku-2 beam provides even higher performance, and can be steered anywhere in Southern Africa and Eastern Africa for excellent video, data and governmental services.


Simplification of the broadcasting chain is key to our customers, and AMOS-17 offers a unique benefit of using one Uplink to broadcast to both beams simultaneously.
